BIG K LAUNCH

Kieron Drum

This is Kieron Drum – He had Epilepsy and sadly passed away due to the condition. He was the friend of our sponsors Pig and Porter, a Brewery based in Tunbridge wells. They always say they would brew a beer in his memory and they made that promise come true. On what would have been Kieron 46th Birthday Pig and porter held a launch night at the Unicorn Inn in Canterbury (Wednesday 13th August) 

to celebrate him and the launch of this new Pale ale aptly named “Big K” as this was Kieron’s nickname and Team Jo went along. 

Team Jo Epilepsy Foundation supported this event special and was proud to be part of it and meet Kieron friends. It was nice to be around people that truly understood the severity that Epilepsy can have on life. I had a lovely time hearing stories about Kieron and it was obvious to me that he was the life and soul of many pubs and his Cricket team. Im sure Kieron would have been proud of what his friends have achieved today. 

Pig and porter are donating 10p from every pint to Team Jo Epilepsy Foundation in Kieron memory and The Unicorn Inn are matching this. Other pubs selling big K are offered to have a charity pot on the bar in memory of Kieron.
